About Bad Business:
Wonderful game, great characters, made me cry. Main reason I’m leaving a negative on the review is shortly after I played it, it was revealed the dev groomed a minor and that minor was the basis for inspiration in past games they made, so it’s definitely a bit harder to separate that fact from their games. Leaving this review for anyone that doesn’t want to support a groomer. I got gifted this game, which I appreciated at the time because, again, it’s a good game. But I would have definitely refunded if it weren’t a gift for the dev reason. I won’t be supporting the dev anymore if they do make future games. It’s up to you if this information changes your decision on your purchase or not. Putting it out there to inform people that care about this sort of info. Right until the credits I was unsure if the game was actually worth the money I spent on it. Cute, morbid, a little humorous, yet none of the theatre stories felt as impactful as I hoped them to be. Or so I thought initially. Probably the only game to have ever made me switch my thoughts in the final 20 second post credits scene. I went from being mildly amused and a little underwhelmed by the initial ending into full blown crying. A very sweet game, if not quite short. All worth it for the post credits scene.I love the idea for this game! Multiple replays over and over from different perspectives and the choices you make for each character changes the story! Finding all the possible endings is so fun! the art style and soundtrack are just soooo amazing as well.
