This is a traditional point&click game, you walk around, pick up items and use them. Beside that there are lots of dialogues. The story involves nazis and supernatural powers which will take you to different locations around the world. I love when games have completely different locations, every location feels fresh and you start exploring it and uncovering its secrets. Lost Horizon has a vibe of Indiana Jones and Broken Sword. At least i felt it. After some time you just kinda fall in love with this game. I know at times it tries to copy other games but not blatantly. There’s also some humorous parts which will make you smile. Graphics are nothing special, it feels like a low budget game which could use more work but somehow it feels good. Puzzles are pretty good, some of them may be really hard to solve. Locations are very nicely drawn and what I like the most is that location are very different. One day you’re somewhere surrounded by snow and suddenly you’re in then desert running along camels. I prefer 2D drawn characters because they look much better than 3D ones in these games, but at least it’s not so bad like some other point&click games with 3D character models. Overall a nice game for adventure lovers. It’s hard around the edges and it might require some time until you start liking it, but after that it becomes a really nice game.
